Cricky Across the 50 Blog Hop...

WYOMING!!!! Welcome to Wyoming, Forever West!

First some fun facts about this fun state I call home:
  • No state touches more other states than Wyoming.
  • The JCPenney stores were started in Kemmerer.
  • Wyoming was the first state to give women the right to vote.
  • Smallest town in the world is located in Buford, WY- Population 2! (halfway between Cheyenne and Laramie on I-80)
  • The University of Wyoming is the "highest" and has the "coolest" summers than any other Division 1 school in the US. It makes it tough for visiting athletes to compete at 7220 feet! GO POKES!

Famous For: Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks, Old Faithful Geyser, Jackson Hole, Flaming Gorge, Cheyenne Frontier Days Celebration
Famous Wyomingites: James Bridger (trapper, guide), Dick Cheney (Vice President), Buffalo Bill Cody (scout), Curt Gowdy (sportscaster), Washakie (Shoshone Chief), James G. Watt (secretary of the Interior), Nellie Tayloe Ross (first woman elected governor)

Now for something fun from Wyoming:
This is a card I made using the 50 States Cartridge! It's Wyoming's flag!

Hope you check out all the great blogs from all the states represented!

Craft Room Inside an Apartment

I recently moved locations to take on a new job! When I was looking at apartments I kept thinking, now is the time that you could finally have your own space to have all your crafty stuff out! So....I ended up getting a 2 bedroom apartment, so that the second bedroom could work as a office/craft space! As of right now, it is my most complete area, and probably where I spend majority of my time! Anyways, I know that their are some who have great big craft rooms, but I wanted to just say, no matter what your space is, make it your own! I don't have fancy cabinets, or even a real table. But, my space allows me to be creative and do something I love! I hope this gives a few of you some ideas for your own craft space! Enjoy! Happy Crating, Lindsay Loo
